DMA Business Group is taking part as an Excellence-category sponsor of El Salvador Fintech Forum 2026, held on November 10 at the Hilton Hotel in San Salvador. Organized by ASAFINTECH and presented by Visa, the forum reaches its third edition as the main meeting point for the region’s financial and technology ecosystem.
The previous edition brought together 728 attendees, more than 40 speakers and 38 sponsors across fifteen hours of content. This year keeps that scale, with an agenda covering asset tokenization, stablecoins, digital payments, Open Finance, digital identity, financial inclusion and the state of El Salvador’s digital asset industry.
Mario Meléndez on the regulation panel
Mario Meléndez, partner at DMA Business Group, joins the panel “Fintech regulation: what is still to be built?”, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. He is joined by Daniel Leiva, of Torres Legal; José Rodríguez, of Nodeman; and Mario Lozano, of ARIAS.
The discussion takes on one of the liveliest subjects in the Salvadoran ecosystem: how much regulatory ground is left to cover for financial innovation to operate under clear rules, and what that means in practice for the companies already building on that framework.

Why DMA is in this conversation
DMA’s experience in digital assets did not come from a trend. It is a direct consequence of more than five years serving U.S. companies in accounting, tax and compliance: when those clients began operating with digital assets, the firm had to understand the ground before the local market started discussing it.
That track record made DMA one of the first Salvadoran firms to offer audit, compliance and consulting services geared to digital asset companies, from a practice that combines accounting, financial and regulatory judgment across both markets where it operates.
An ecosystem measured against the region
This year the forum brings together fintech associations from fourteen Ibero-American countries, alongside regulators, investors and operators from across the payments chain. For a firm working between El Salvador and the United States, that is precisely the room where the direction of the market becomes clear.
The event takes place on November 10, 2026 at the Hilton Hotel in San Salvador. Details and registration are available at elsalvadorfintechforum.com.
